2010 NFL Combine Analysis – Part 11 – 40 times for CBs

  • The average time for the 27 cornerbacks that took part in the 40 yard dash at the 2010 NFL Combine was 4.516 seconds.
  • The fastest CB was Crezdon Butler from Clemson with a time of 4.41 seconds.
  • The slowest CB was Marshay Green from Mississippi with a time of 4.64 seconds.
  • Alabama corner Javier Arenas ran a 4.52, which was just below average for the position whilst his team-mate Kareem Jackson was faster than average with a 4.48.
  • Brandon Ghee (Wake Forest) ran a faster-than-average 4.45
  • Florida’s Joe Haden, believed by many to be the best CB in the draft, was disappointing with a below-average time of 4.57 seconds.
  • Florida State CB Patrick Robinson was faster than average with a 4.42, the second fastest time for the position.
  • Kyle Wilson from Boise State did not participate.
